Creative Spaces Burnley was started in 2017 by a small group of dedicated artists and runs with the help of an amazing group of local supporters. 

CSB's Directors bring extensive knowledge and decades of experience working in the arts.

Many people from  diverse backgrounds have come together, donating their free time to our projects and making sure great creative things can happen. 

Burnley's Artist Network is a gathering for all creative people in and around the town. It's hosted and co-ordinated by Creative Spaces Burnley and has existed and met in one form or another for over a decade. We are part of a much broader arts' ecology, with working partners across the town and region. Creative Spaces Burnley is proud of the work it is doing to strengthen and lead the development of our local cultural economy. 

We are also building a strong and representative Board to help steer us in the right direction.   

There has been a great deal of change to Burnley's High Street in recent decades and big shifts in the town's cultural offer. Creative Spaces Burnley has played a leading role in both.
